Try to resupply your health/ammo as often as possible, unless the Engineer needs ammo boxes for metal. Try to focus down all tanks and engineer buildings that appear.Īll the general upgrades (resistances, speed.) are useful, depending on your class - remember that a dead class does no damage/healing, so make sure to keep your defenses upgraded against the incoming enemies. Tanks and Engineer buildings are immune to jarate/mad milk/slow/stun effects.

Soldier/Demoman/Heavy/Pyro greatly benefit from the +health on kill upgrade for their main weapon - this upgrade is extremely important, even more so if you do not have a medic/engineer! Only Engineers (Buildings) and Medics (Uber) have a valid reason for slightly delaying a wave's start.Īside from making sure the robots don't deploy the bomb, collecting money is the most important task - make sure no money vanishes from the map, and if you collect it all you get a bonus 100$ (A+). If at least half of your team is ready (F4) then do not hold up the wave spawn - press F4 and finish your shopping/traveling in the first few moments of the wave. On a standard Normal~Advanced map of 6 players, you will almost always want to have 1 Engineer and 1 Scout - engi's buildings are absolutely priceless, and scouts are by far the best money collectors.
